I created Blue Texture, 1 whilst I was an artist in resident at Konstfack, Stockholm, Sweden. The series grew from the desire to use my hands to manipulate the plaster until it set. I then layer complementary shades of ground glass to mimic the surface of the ocean. Blue Texture, 1 can be displayed either texture facing forward or with the still surface facing forward. As the tones of the glass are extremely calming this work would sit perfectly in a bedroom, meditation space, or a therapeutic room.

I created Red Texture whilst I was an artist in resident at Konstfack, Stockholm, Sweden. The series grew from the desire to use my hands to manipulate the plaster until it set. I then layer complementary shades of ground glass to mimic colours found in coral. Red Texture can be displayed either texture facing forward or with the still surface facing forward. As the tones of the glass are dynamic and vivid this work would sit perfectly in the living room or home office.
